දෙසැම්බර් මස 3,4,5,6 යන දිනයන් හීදී විද්‍යාලීය චාර්ල්ස් රොබින්සන් අනුස්මරණ ශාලාවීදී පැවැත්වීමට නියමිතය. එක දිනක්
සදහා දර්ශන වාර 2ක් ඇතුලත් වේ.
පළමු දර්ශන වාරය - පෙ.ව 9.00 - පෙ.ව 11.00
දෙවන දර්ශන වාරය - පෙ.ව 11.00 - ප.ව 1.30
මෙහිදී තිරගත කිරීමට නියමිත චිත්‍රපට වල නාමයන් ඉදිරියේදී ප්‍රකාශ කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වේ.
සීමිත චිත්‍රපට ටිකට් පත් සංක්‍යාවක් ඇති බැවින් නැරඹීම සදහා අවශ්‍ය ටිකට් පත් ලබගැනීම සදහා ඉදිරි සතිය ඇතුලත (නොවැ. 26 - 30)

සාන්ත තෝමස් බාලදක්ෂ සමූහයේ පසුගිය වකවානුවේ යම් පසුබැමක් සිදුවී ඇති බැවින් නැවත ගොඩනැගීම වෙනුවෙන් සාන්ත තෝමස් ආදී බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයෙන් නව යෝජනා රැසක් ඉදිරිපත් වී ඇත. ඒ බව පසුගිය මස පැවති රැස්වීමේදී දිර්ඝ වශයෙන් සාකජ්චාවට භාජනය විය.
පසුගිය වකවානුවේ විද්‍යාලීය බාලදක්ෂ සමූහය වෙත ආදී බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ අවදානය අඩු මට්ටමක පැවති බැවින් මෙවන් තත්වයක් උත්ගත වූබව සංගමයේ සියලු රැස්වීමට පැමිණි සමාජිකයන් පිළිගත් අතර එය අවම කර ගැනීම සදහා යෝජනා රැසක් ඉදිරිපත් විය. ඒ අතර සෑම මාස දෙකකටම වරක් විද්‍යාලීය බාලදක්ෂයන් වෙනුවෙන් පුහුණු වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්වීමට යෝජනා විය. තවද විද්‍යාලීය බාලදක්ෂ සමූහයේ පුහුණු කටයුතු ප්‍රමාණවත් මට්ටමින් සිදු නොවන නිසා විද්‍යාලීය ආදී බාලදක්ෂයකු වන (ජනාධිපති බාලදක්ෂ) කැකිරාව මධ්‍ය මහා විද්‍යාලයේ සේවයේ නියුතු සම්පත් සේමසිංහ මහතා විද්‍යාලයට යෝමු කරවා ගැනීම සදහා වන මූලික පියවර වශයෙන් තාවකාලීකව ගෙන්වා ගැනීමටද තීරණය විය.
විද්‍යාලීය බාලදක්ෂයන් හා ආදී බාලදක්ෂයන් අතර සුහදත්වය වර්ධනය සදහා ආදී බාලදක්ෂ දිනයක් විද්‍යාලයේදී පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු සංවිධානය කරන බවද වාර්තා විය.

All four hockey playing schools from Matale – defending champions St. Thomas College, Zahira College, Vijaya College and Christ Church College – entered the quarter finals of the All Island Schools boys Under 17 Hockey Championships organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association which is now being worked off at Wesley College grounds and Shalika Grounds Narahenpita. The matches will be continued today at 7 am.
The quarter final matches which will be played today are: Zahira College, Matale Vs Ananda College, Ananda College Vs D.S. Senanayake College, Christ Church College Vs D.S. Senanayake College, St. Thomas College Vs Vijaya College, Royal College Vs Nalanda College
The results of the pre-quarter final matches played yesterday are: St. Thomas College, Matale beat Dharmaraja College 3-0, Vijaya College beat St. Sylvester’s College 2-0, Ananda College beat St. Aloysius College, Galle 2-1, D.S. Senanayake College beat Wesley College 1-0, Nalanda Vidyalaya beat Janadhipathi Vidyalaya, Nawala 5-2 on penalty strokes, Royal College beat Maris Stella College 4-0, Zahira College Matale beat Jaffna Central College 2-0.
Meanwhile, Sangamitta Balika Vidyalaya, Matale’s centre forward Sachithra Sandarenu turned in a star performance when she slammed five goals which included a hat-trick to spearhead her school to a 9-0 win over Ladies College, Colombo in their All Island Schools girls Under 17 Hockey tournament match played at the same venue. At half time winners led 5-0. A feature of this championship is that two girls’ schools from the Northern Province, Jaffna Girls College and Uduvil Girls College, participated in this tournament. Another feature was the re-emergence of Girls High school, Kandy to enter the quarter finals and the good progress made by Museaus College to make their mark in hockey by entering the quarter finals. The quarter finals will be played today (Wednesday) and the line up is as follows: Janadhipathi Vidyalaya, Nawala Vs Museaus College, Pushpadana Girls College Vs Girls High School, Seetha Devi BV Vs St. Anthony’s Girls College, Kandy and Sangamitta BV Vs Bishop’s College
